Public Speaking, Debate, & Writing Instructor

David Naylor is the recipient of numerous awards; Educator of the Year, Outstanding Young American, International Who’s Who (nominated), Crystal Apple Award, Merit Achievement Award, etc. Mr. Naylor graduated with a master’s degree in Communication Arts from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury – New York. He is currently working as an adjunct instructor at Suffolk County Community College Seldon, New York, and previously worked as an Assistant Professor for Briarcliffe College, Patchogue, New York. He also worked as an instructor for Katharine Gibbs Business School in Melville, New York.

He has taught and worked as an instructor/Assistant Professor for many colleges. His intent is to help students become confident in public speaking and understand the process and concepts to help empower students with community building and to help provide meaningful dialogue. He has over 24 years of teaching experience.

Mr. Naylor is a motivational speaker, presentation specialist, keynote speaker, faculty development coach, technology trainer, interviewing consultant, and time management specialist.

David has also published his book called, “Steps in Success” for students to realize that there are certain steps to take, which will help them to succeed in class, as well as in their everyday life. His steps will increase your confidence as you pursue your life goals. He is knowledgeable about all aspects of communication, especially public speaking, writing and debate. He has ultimately decided to pass on his knowledge and teach these communication skills, which he finds most rewarding. He is passionate about getting students excited about public speaking, debate, and writing, which he feels will not only benefit their futures as adults but also their current lives.

David Naylor has a track record of helping shy kids come out of their shells. He has more than 24 years of teaching experience. Public speaking has been a part of his life since he was very young, and he’s hoping to bring his experience forward to create a productive and powerful learning environment.
