Get ready for an action-packed week with Prof. Isabelle. In Just 5- Days Learn Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity. This is a 5-day course that introduces young cybersecurity enthusiasts to cybersecurity, and ethical hacking. It covers topics such as the internet, cyberattacks, cyber defense, and networking concepts. The students will also learn concepts and methods used by ethical hackers while doing fun activities and games. The course will conclude with a fun ‘Capture the Flag’ friendly hacking activity/competition between 2 teams!
During the camp, the students will Learn:
* Learn about cybersecurity and the reasons why it is critical to our digital life.
* Recognize what cyberattacks are, how they affect, and the impact they have on everyone.
* Acquire knowledge about what constitutes a hack and the different kinds of hackers.
* Recognize the definition of ethical hacking and the necessity for ethical hackers.
* Learn & understand what ethical hacking is and why ethical hackers are needed.
*Get to know the consequences of hacking illegally and the protocols.
* Acquire knowledge of and proficiency with various hacking tools and techniques to obtain data about systems and people.
* Play educational games and activities to gain knowledge.
* Learn about “capture the flag” hacking tasks and take part in a friendly tournament.
