Boost your Child’s Academic Performance at School

For most people, November is the time for the family to get together for Thanksgiving. But if you are a parent, it is also the time for parent teacher conferences. Parents are eager to find out how their child is performing at school. Every parent is looking to get their child to perform in a way they can be proud of. We all want our children to give their best in school.

As an educator, I see that students have the ability and potential to achieve success in schools. But many students don’t know how to study for school. Many students are under the wrong impression that if they attend school complete all the homework, their job is done. The purpose of education is not to have your complete handouts and projects. The purpose if for your to gather and use what you learn in school.

Students too often don’t talk about what they learn until they are prompted repeatedly by adults. Studies have found that children who talk about what they are learning will be good at writing about it and later retaining it. I invite you all to talk to your children about the topics they are encountering in schools.

Talking about it and writing about it will help them to own their learning. The courses at Little Loudspeakers Academy give them a venue to claim their learning as their own. We give them the chance to effectively communicate  and internalize what they are learning in life. Our courses teach them to write well and to organize their thoughts. This fall, why not send your kids to our classes. Our courses will boost your child’s academic performance at school and help them to own their learning.
