Ms. Melissa Rosano

Ms. Melissa Rosano “The Queen of Empowerment” brings to the Little Loudspeakers Academy’s team a great passion for empowering and instilling confidence in children.
Melissa Rosano took part in four different projects: Area 120 – Bookbot, Panels QA, Google Play Movies & TV and Google Play Apps during her almost five years as a contractor at Google via two different contracting companies, Randstad and Vaco. She started working on her first project less than six months after graduating from CSU East Bay with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with options in Information Technology Management and Operations & Supply Chain Management. Prior to transferring to CSU East Bay, she earned her Associates in Business from West Valley College. Her public speaking professor there taught her much more than how to write a speech and deliver it, he wanted his students to increase their interpersonal communication effectiveness and impact and it showed in his lessons. This is a lesson Melissa took to heart.

She specializes in students who are low in confidence or those who are shy. She is knowledgeable about all aspects of communication, especially public speaking and creative writing. She has more than 10 yrs of experience in tutoring struggling students.

While Melissa’s background is in business, she has a passion for learning and education and found fulfillment in helping someone through a tough subject. She would often find herself organizing study groups for her classes and other students would ask her for assistance regularly. One experience that influenced her the most is when she overheard a student gleefully exclaim that they pulled their grade up and would not need the recovery sessions after school anymore, and they had Melissa to thank.
