Ms. Maggie Gibbons

Ms. Gibbons ” The Confidence Whisperer” brings in to the Little Loudspeakers Academy’s Team a great passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young students. She has a solid background in psychology and international experience, teaching languages to children and youth. Maggie Gibbons has a specialty in working with students with many different needs requiring different accommodations in their learning environments. She has given many presentations on managing behaviors with positive techniques at various agencies she worked at and local charitable institutions.

She is knowledgeable about all aspects of communication, especially public speaking and creative writing. She has ultimately decided to pass on her knowledge and teach these communication skills, which she finds most rewarding. She is passionate about getting students excited about public speaking and creative writing, which she feels will not only benefit their futures as adults but also their current lives.

Her intent is to help students become confident in public speaking and understand the process and concepts to help empower students with community building and to help provide meaningful dialogue. She has over 15 years of public speaking and writing experience.

Ms. Gibbons graduated from State University of New York (Empire State College) with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Later she completed her master’s in counseling psychology. She is a language teacher at Center of Hellenic Education, San Jose for 1st Grade and 4th Grade students. She has also worked as a before and after school teacher at the YMCA (South Valley) at Allen/Steinbeck Elementary and with Art House Kids (Willow Glen Elementary) as an after school Instructor. Apart from this, she worked in numerous school settings at many school districts (Franklin Mckinley, San Jose Unified and Cupertino) in the Bay Area as a Behavioral Manager and as an ABA Therapist at Creative Learning Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Mrs. Gibbons has a track record of helping shy kids come out of their shells. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience. She’s known to be the “Confidence Whisperer”
