PUBLIC SPEAKING WITH LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOR 5-8 YRS & 9 -14 YRS (M-F):
During our 5-day Public Speaking with Leadership Skills Camp (zoom online class), the students will have fun while gaining knowledge and exposure to the world of public speaking and leadership skills. We prepare kids to experience a breakthrough and build their confidence. With our course, your child will develop an excellent foundation for public speaking and leadership. They will learn about the different types and purposes of speeches. Students will be taught how to craft a well-organized and compelling speech. And just giving speeches even a few times throughout a year does wonders for decreasing student nervousness and anxiety.
Students will be taught various ways to overcome and manage stage fear, nervousness, and anxiety. Students will learn to develop leadership skills, their importance, their assets, characteristics, and effectiveness. With the training and experience, they obtain through our classes; students will become more powerful communicators in all aspects of communication. This is a great course for students to learn valuable vocal and speaking skills. This program will help children to find and nurture their own inner voice and expression. Students learn to be expressive, use eye contact, vocal modulation- gain vocal confidence, and deliver nonverbal communication through gestures, body language, and movement techniques.
With small class sizes, our highly qualified instructors focus on each student. Students practice individual and group performances and give a final speech presentation at the last class. In just a short period of time, witness them speak loud and proud on stage in front of their parents and friends.
In our Public Speaking Summer camp, every week students will learn a different genre/type of public speaking like Informative Speech, Persuasive Speech, Impromptu speaking, Expository speaking, Creative Interpretation/Interpretation of Literature, Speak Loud, and Speak Proud (Signature Course) and so on. So, you can enroll for multiple weeks.
DEBATE: Public Forum- 8-14 YRS
A public forum is a two-on-two debate where students debate a topic set by the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) every two months within a year. It is competitive and most debaters love competing because they enjoy planning strategies on how to try to outwit their opponents by responding to arguments and questions. It involves a myriad of delivery forms such as persuasive, impromptu, and extemporaneous. The objective of a public forum debate is critical and analytical thinking. They will use statistics and numbers, they will learn about trending, controversial issues surrounding our world, and understand different cultures while researching. Our Debate summer camp is an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their debating skills, build confidence, and get an edge in competitive debates, especially in formats like Public Forum, Lincoln-Douglas, or Policy Debate. These camps provide a structured environment for practice, skill-building, and learning from experienced coaches.
In this class, students will learn how to:
- Craft and organize a case according to NSDA rules,
- Conduct in-depth research,
- Refute and respond to their adversaries,
- and, how to have fun at the same time.
- You’ll dive into the specifics of building a case, countering the opposition, and maintaining a strategic flow throughout the rounds.
Students will learn to analyze a topic by doing historical research, outweigh the good versus the bad, establish their arguments based on what they believe to be superior, and by making it difficult for the opponents to respond. They will also learn how to take good notes thereby making them better listeners as well.
CREATIVE WRITING & READING SUMMER CAMP For 5-8 yrs & 9-14 yrs (M-F)
Cast a spell on your readers- learn how to write spellbinding stories and poems! Unleash your inner writer with our creative writing course! We will teach you how to grow and nurture the brilliant author within you. Our class will teach you how to structure and craft powerful writing. Students will learn to grow their own unique writing voice and style. We will help you create unforgettable characters, exciting storylines, and memorable details to spice up your writing.
Students participate in writing-intensive exercises designed to address the elements of a story/ poem, voice, character, motifs, mood, theme, plot, and setting. Students engage in analyzing and providing peer feedback with the intention of growing and fine-tuning each other’s craft.
Moreover, students will have lots of fun participating in a variety of activities including enacting their favorite characters from a story, movie, or their own story characters, storyline building, and more. In just a short period of time, witness them write and present their work on stage in front of their parents and friends.
LITTLE ENTREPRENEURS SUMMER CAMP FOR 8-14 YRS (M-F)
Get ready for an action-packed week. Budding Little Entrepreneurs will get to be creative and start their own businesses. Students will learn real-life business lessons, delivered in a fun and engaging way by Little Loudspeakers award-winning instructors. During the camp, Little Entrepreneurs will create an original business idea, name, logo, and website. Little Entrepreneurs program is a project-based learning program that gives children the opportunity to learn first-hand how to start and operate their own businesses. Working in teams, the Little Entrepreneurs start and run their own company. Our course is designed to mentor, support, and empower today’s children with the necessary skills to set them on the path of becoming our future entrepreneurs at a young age. Becoming an entrepreneur doesn’t require money, luck, or a background in business. All it takes is ambition. The best time to start was yesterday. The next best time is this Summer 2025.
