Mrs. Amanda Harris- (Former Assistant Principal with Ferriday Upper and Lower Elementary, LA)

Public Speaking, Debate, & Writing Instructor

 

Ms. Amanda Harris graduated from Mississippi State University in Communications and has a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Louisiana. Currently serving as Grants Manager for Louisiana Delta Community College, she previously was Assistant Principal with Ferriday Upper and Lower Elementary Schools – Ferriday, LA – and also worked as a 5th Grade Reading/ELA Teacher for Vidalia Upper Elementary School in LA.

She is knowledgeable about all aspects of communication, especially public speaking and creative writing. She has ultimately decided to pass on her knowledge and teach these communication skills, which she finds most rewarding. She is passionate about getting students excited about public speaking and creative writing, which she feels will not only benefit their futures as adults but also their current lives.

Mrs. Amanda has a track record of helping shy kids come out of their shells. She has more than 12 years of teaching experience. She’s known to be the “Confidence Whisperer” and “The Wizard of Writing”. She is excited to share her knowledge with the students here at Little Loudspeakers Academy!
