Ms. Sarah Smith is thrilled to join Little Loudspeakers Academy, LLC as an instructor in Public Speaking, Debate, and Creative Writing. With over 25 years of teaching and leadership experience, Ms. Sarah brings a rare combination of academic excellence, real-world communication expertise, and a deep passion for helping students grow in confidence.

Currently, Ms. Smith serves as a High School Teacher at Kempsville High School’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation Academy within Virginia Beach Public Schools, where she guides students in transforming ideas into clear, persuasive, and confident presentations. She is also a former Distance Learning Administrator at Old Dominion University, where she supported higher education programs in Educational Foundations and Leadership.

Known affectionately by students at Little Loudspeakers Academy as the “Confidence Whisperer, Ms. Sarah specializes in working with children who are shy, reserved, or unsure of their voice. She creates a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel safe to express themselves, take risks, and grow into confident communicators.

Ms. Smith holds an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership – Higher Education from Old Dominion University and a Master of Education from Regent University. Her extensive background spans teaching learners of all ages—from pre-kindergarten through senior citizens—in Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Reading, English, and Communication Skills.

In addition to her classroom teaching, Ms. Sarah is an educator, instructional designer, and entrepreneurship coach. Her instruction emphasizes structure, storytelling, audience awareness, persuasion, and confidence, equipping students with skills that extend far beyond the classroom. She coaches students through the full communication process—from brainstorming and message development to polished delivery—helping them present with clarity, poise, and purpose.

Above all, Ms. Sarah is deeply passionate about empowering students to find their voice. She believes strong communication skills enrich students’ academic lives today and prepare them for success as confident, capable adults tomorrow.

Ms. Smith truly enjoys helping students of all ages build confidence in language, communication, and self-expression, and she is excited to inspire the next generation of speakers at Little Loudspeakers Academy.
